Mixocelotl *1 is the High Priestess
of the Mexica *2, a neo-Mexican
*3 religion
she founded over a decade ago. In reality, although she wishes she understood
the divine powers that are out there, and pretends that she does, she is
nothing more than a very fortunate and illiterate charlatan. Her followers
are even more illiterate than she is, and with her great ability for storytelling,
she wows them every time. She envies her sister Tlalehue, who understands
the beyond so well Mixocelotl seriously wonders if her sister is mortal
anymore. She lives off the donations of her loyal followers, and while
she promises a massive rebellion aided by the gods soon, she has no intention
of ever endangering her meal ticket.
