The first thing you should know about Marquita, is never underestimate
her. She may seem timid and weak at times, but if you play her wrong, she'll
get you the moment you turn around. She's young, but more mature
than most people her age, and extremely well read. She doesn't have any
visible scars or whip marks like most slaves have, which does leave a
few things about her past to question. No one has the courage or reason
to ask though, most of her friends have assumed that she was employed
in the "entertainment" business.
Although she's quiet about it, she has a small attraction to Napoleon,
who hasn't noticed it yet, partially because he's not mentally stable,
and partially because she's not the type to voice things so easily. Nitra for
some unexplained reason is bothered by this attraction, and doesn't leave
them alone for more than a minute. Roberto has yet to get Nitra to tell him what is bothering her.
