Cross Country is one branch of the subway, a movement to help slaves escape
their masters and make it to the free nations of Canada and Mexico. It
was founded by Morgan when he tired of the Boston 6's non-violent methods.
At first the subway did not respect his tactics, however, after his group
of twenty one men hand delivered more slaves to freedom in six months than
the entire subway had done in a year, they had every reason to respect
him. Morgan's tactics are very simple, kill the master, free the slaves,
and escape into the brush and rocks where even the national guard would
have trouble finding you. His tactics are very brutal, utilizing hidden
stations along the Missisipi river and the Allegheny mountain range to
force their way through military blockades and traps. He also receives
help from other members of the subway, more than tripling their overall
force. its no cake walk being a member of Cross Country, for every operation
they have they lose no less than 4 people to gunfights, and captures are
frequent. Morgan hand picks his soldiers, to this day not a single captured
survivalist has revealed any of their secrets, up until the moment of their
execution. |
