Red Krewe
Is a story written by Brandon Montoya (myself), illustrated by Kevin Lyon and Hungla Rodriguez. its currently available in a comic book format on-line from
Gravitywell Productions tm.
There is a full book on its way, and mini-comics are available as well. There are also full color pinups available on the main site.
Nitra & Roberto - illustrated by Douglass Freeman Jr.
Art Style
Kevin lyon is the penciller of the mini comics, and will, in a short time, pick up the regular series. His work is mainly "American" artwork, with some manga influence visible. He's one of my best friends, and has known me since the day I created Red Krewe, and is more familiar with the characters than anyone else in GWP save myself.

Hungla Rodriguez is the penciler of the first 3 issues of Red Krewe, which haven't been released yet. Though not intentionally, her art is usually seen as manga style, although she's not an anime fan and isn't attempting to copy at all.

Douglass Freeman Jr. is an artist / writer for Gravitywell, and has helped create images for the Red Krewe website as well as illustrate some of his own Red Krewe pinups.

Writing Style
The writing style of Red Krewe is serious, with just a little comedy at the appropriate times. The plot is very intricate, with a lot of depth and development. This isn't an open ended story, this series will conclude someday, though I won't say when.
The story is set in the 1950s, in a world very different from the one we know. The book could be described as anthropomorphic, science fiction, action, retro and a few other things... personally I try to avoid using those descriptions. The story is just that, a story, content.
There are themes present in the book such as violence, prejudice, insurrection and others... but there are no morals to any of the stories. Since the choice is theirs anyway, I leave the reader to decide what is right and wrong for them.
