Long
update. You can do this if you need to, but save it for really big updates
and announcements.
Site update title
This first paragraph should
read a summary of your update. This means it's teaser information, not
everything. If the reader gets all the info from your post there is nothing
left to check out on your site.
If you want you can have
a second paragraph, and I strongly recommend that this be an extra only
if you have so much new stuff on your site that this is a must. If you
are too wordy, you may disgourage people from checking out your site.
The third paragraph is okay,
but once again only go this far if you have a wealth of information to
offer. Don't fill up this space with quotes from "influential people" saying
how great your site is. Let the viewers decide for themselve, since they're
here on our page, they are on click away from yours. If you want, you can
include an e-mail address to contact you at, but it's not necessary if
it's on your page. Do not make your update longer than this or I will edit
or bounce it.

ORCA
Online to Provide Coverage Of Pittsburgh Comicon April 28-30
UTICA, NY-- Comic book fans
will be able to follow some of the happenings at Pittsburgh Comicon on
the World Wide Web, thanks to plans by ORCA to upload daily stories and
pictures to its new online magazine -- www.ORCAfresh.net.
ORCA will field a press team
to cover the premier comic book convention from April 28 to April 30, ORCA
Director Rick Olney says.
"We will also produce a print
version to distribute right at the convention," he adds. Pittsburgh Comicon
will be held at the Pittsburgh Expomart in Monroeville, PA, April 28-30.
ORCA, which stands for Organized
Readers of Comics Associated, is an international comic book club headquartered
in Utica, New York. Its mission, Olney says, is to promote the reading
of comic books, evaluate artwork and writing, and provide feedback to fans
and the industry.
