Gravitywell Productions Charity Work
The joys and freedoms of running business are great, but the value of charity is not something to be overlooked or treated as wasteful.
Every year Poser Direct runs a community charity drive for "Red Nose Day," a day of charity inspired by comedians in the UK. By showing proof of charitable donations, you can get access to website freebies offered by Poser Direct and other vendors, including ourselves.
Gravitywell Productions' most prominent contribution was the creation of the Red Nose Day video for Poser Direct.
"With the support of a lovely bunch of 3d artists, who kindly contributed products, free items and helped with things, from March 3rd to April 3rd the site ran a charity drive to raise money for Comic Relief. Later this was expanded to include other charities.
The idea was very simple, any artist who donated cash directly to the charitys concerned, then forwarded their donation email to here, got an ultra cool goodie bag of products/freebies in return for their support.
Your donations to Comic Relief totalled: £260.08 Plus $50 for Mercy Corps."

Producing The Video
Mr. Sparky's request was fairly simple. He had a special 3D item created specifically to celebreate Red Nose Day, and he took some time with some of his other developers to produce some simple animation scenes. What they needed was some direction, a little voice acting and music to bring the entire piece together.
Poser Direct has some experience in this field, so their pre-production instructions were clear and easy to follow. After a read through by our voice actors and some music from Zero-G's celtic audio loops (snares), we had our video.
3D Content producers Vanishing Point, Anniebel, Skin2Pix, Darth J, Loft, Kastaway and Stefani21ga also participated in the charity drive.
To help push things along, Gravitywell Productions for the very first time produced a set of images that may be used in derivative commercial productions. People who donated to charity received these 5 images under a royalty free license, however, you who is visiting Inside The Well may receive these images under a Creative Commons 3.0 Attribution license. You are also allowed to use these images in commercial and non-commercial work, but you must credit Gravitywell Productions. There is also an alternate 6th image in this bin.
